Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for financial aid, applicants must:

  • Be accepted to Western States K9 College

  • Demonstrate financial need and/or professional readiness

  • Submit a complete financial aid application when you apply for acceptance, including:

    • Personal essay (prompt provided)

    • Proof of income or relevant background

    • Any applicable supporting documents

    • Optional interview (by invitation)

Once you have been accepted to Western States K9 College you will receive your scholarship awards email, detailing any tuition assistance awarded as part of your enrollment package.

Need-Based Scholarship:

Up to 50% Tuition Assistance

At Western States K9 College, we believe that financial limitations should not stand in the way of professional growth, long-term career success, and industry mentorship.. That’s why we offer a need-based scholarship for selected applicants to our Full Professional Certification Program.

This scholarship reduces tuition from $3,500 to $1,750, allowing qualified students to pursue certification without compromising their financial stability.

Award Criteria:
Applicants are evaluated based on:

  • A personal essay detailing goals, motivation, and financial need

  • Supporting documentation (such as income verification or personal statement)

  • An optional interview with our admissions team

Please Note: This scholarship is available only to students who have been admitted into the Full Professional Certification Program. THIS SCHOLARSHIP CANNOT BE APPLIED TO ANY OTHER PROGRAM.

Reserved for one outstanding incoming student each year, this scholarship honors individuals who demonstrate extraordinary passion, leadership potential, and a clear vision for impacting the dog training profession.

The Legacy Scholarship is Western States K9 College’s highest honor—awarding 100% tuition coverage for our Full Professional Certification Program to one outstanding new student each year.

Full Tuition Coverage ($3,500 value)

HOW IT WORKS

To apply to Western States K9 College, simply fill out the application form with your details and submit it. applicants will receive their acceptance letter via email.

Once admitted, you will receive access to the scholarship application as part of your welcome package.
