Students study candidate sourcing and evaluation, client assessment, matching, task development, psychiatric and medical-response tasks, hearing work, retrieval and environmental-control tasks, mobility-related boundaries, public-access progression, handler instruction, documentation, readiness evaluation, follow-up, retirement, and lifetime welfare.

Students complete an advanced team-development capstone and professional service-dog program portfolio. Introduction to Service Dog Training is the recommended prerequisite.
