I’m Joe—Founder, Owner, and Lead Instructor of Western States K-9 College. I don’t just train dogs. I build trainers, businesses, and lives. Who am I and Why I lead This College

I grew up in Utah and didn’t have an easy start—at times I was homeless with my family. I sold garage-door remotes and became the top salesperson. I worked every job from retail to vet clinics until I found what I was born to do: train dogs.

I wasn’t a straight-A student. I wasn’t “supposed” to win. I did anyway.

I clawed my way into entrepreneurship, learned to build businesses, and turned my love for animals into a career that’s made me millions. I’ve trained 10,000+ dogs nationwide—from family pets to the toughest behavior cases veterinarians send me before euthanasia. I became known as:

“If Joe can’t solve the behavior, nobody can.”

I ran a German Shepherd rescue. I built a six-figure training business on referrals alone. I traveled the country teaching behavior modification. My students are now launching and growing training businesses across the U.S.

Beyond dogs, I’m a wife, mom, stepmom, godparent, competitor, and cowgirl. I ride, teach horsemanship, train gun dogs, and compete in shooting events with Women of the Outdoors. I love ranch life, horses, turquoise, cigars, and a good tequila. I’ve lost my parents and some of the great dogs who made me who I am—and I rebuilt, stronger.

I’m a published author, podcaster, public speaker, and educator. I’ve built multiple brands, including a million-dollar property and businesses. Through it all one thing never changed:
