Tuition: $1,500
Duration: 3 Months (self-paced with milestones)
Prerequisite: Must be a Certified Trainer through WSK9CO
Outcome: Become an approved WSK9CO Instructor with your own course hosted within the school.

🎯 Program Overview

This elite 3-month program is designed for certified dog trainers ready to take the next step — becoming instructors. Participants will learn how to design, record, structure, and deliver their own dog training programs under the Western States K-9 College umbrella.

By the end, each instructor will have:

  • A complete video training library of their own course

  • A student workbook or handouts

  • A marketing plan for their program

  • A mentorship structure for their students

  • A revenue stream through WSK9CO

Completion Requirements.

✅ All modules completed and reviewed
✅ Video course uploaded and approved
✅ Signed Instructor Agreement

upon approval you can start before you are fully certified

Course Deliverables

By the end of this 3-month program, each instructor will have:

  • A fully developed, approved online course hosted on WSK9CO

  • 10–12 professional training videos

  • A student workbook or guide

  • Marketing copy and instructor bio

  • Mentorship pricing and structure

  • Certificate: “Certified Instructor – Western States K-9 College”

Instructor Compensation

  • Each new student that enrolls in your course pays $800
    → You earn $500 per student
    → WSK9CO retains $300 for hosting, processing, and support

  • Optional Mentorship Add-On (offered by you)
    → You receive 70% of the mentorship package price
    → WSK9CO retains 30%

  • WSK9CO manages hosting, payments, and marketing; you manage content and mentorship.

How To Apply

This short-form video assignment helps you share your story as a dog trainer — authentically, powerfully, and in under 60 seconds.


Your video may be featured on WSK9CO’s social platforms to inspire others to begin their own journey.

Your Mission

Create a Video that tells your story and connects emotionally with future students. Choose one of the following themes to guide your video.

Pick one topic to keep your story focused and emotional.

1. Why I Became a Dog Trainer

Hook: “I never thought I’d be a dog trainer, but…”
Story: A short version of their journey — what inspired them, what they struggled with, and where they are now.
Callout: “Now I’m building my own course through Western States K-9 College.”

2. My Biggest Lesson as a Trainer

Hook: “The biggest thing I’ve learned as a dog trainer is…”
Story: A quick moment of growth, insight, or challenge they overcame with a dog or client.
Callout: “I’m turning that lesson into a full course at Western States K-9 College.”

3. From Student to Instructor

Hook: “I started as a student, and now I’m an instructor…”
Story: Highlight their progression through the WSK9CO programs, how mentorship helped, and what their new program will teach.
Callout: “If you’ve ever dreamed of teaching others, this is where you start.”

4. My Niche in Dog Training

Hook: “Not all dog trainers do the same thing — my focus is…”
Story: Describe their niche (puppy work, reactivity, agility, etc.) and why it matters.
Callout: “That’s why I’m creating a course to help others learn this skill.”

🕐 60-Second Structure Template

Stay concise, here is a guide:

  • 0–10 sec: Hook (grab attention)

  • 10–30 sec: Story (what led them here)

  • 30–50 sec: Transformation or lesson learned

  • 50–60 sec: Call-to-action (why others should learn or join WSK9CO)

💡 Tips for Applicants:

  • Film vertically with good lighting and minimal background noise

  • Include your dog(s) or a short training clip for engagement

  • Use trending but appropriate background music

  • Speak naturally, like you’re talking to another trainer

  • End with a smile or visual cue (dog trick, high five, etc.)
